Summer 2012 included a mancation to Costa Rica  (video link: Summer in Costa Rica, 2012.)  It was an amazing experience full of laughs, hugs, conversations and most importantly, beaches. My alter ego definitely thinks I’m a  beach bum. During the week-long trip I took visits to San Jose, Puerto Limon which is on the eastern Caribbean side, Veraguas Rainforest, Playa Bonita and the most beautiful beach I’ve come across in my lifetime, Punta Uva.

I was captivated by the simplicity and beauty of life in Puerto Limon where I was born.  Life is relaxed and carefree in a country that I never had the desire to live.  The desire has consumed my thoughts of late.  Acting on them is another story.  Similar to a previous vacation to Costa Rica, I came back to chaos.  I’m not sure if there’s a message here or if it’s just a matter of poor timing but maybe, next time, I shouldn’t come back.
